I have had a good few days on Chatelaine Spring Morning. Oh why couldn't the Christmas mystery be as nice as this?! You may remember my Dad bought me the full kit for Christmas 2006 so I have all the lovely Needlepoint Inc silks and Thread Gatherer Silk 'n' Colors for this and they are just gorgeous to stitch with. So here's my progress so far which I am very pleased with:) The satin stitch violets are a little strange to stitch and I've had to frog one as it wasn't quite right but thankfully it was only one! I'm looking forward to picking this one up again.
So tonight is JN Queen of the Needle and tomorrow is Ink Circles Sea Stars then in my rotation for the rest of week ( calm down Paula ) is HAED Guardian. I don't think I will get much done as I have to finish filling in the metallic on the page I was stitching on and metallic is NOT my favourite thing to stitch with! I also want to make a start on Chris' RR in an afternoon if I get chance and finish Kyrie's PIF.
It's half term here next week so I'm looking forward to spending some time with the girls. DH is on a course Monday to Wednesday in Bristol then is taking the rest of the week off so depending on the weather we might get a day out.
Hope everyone is having a good start to the week. Please help cheer Lisa on in her quest to finish HAED qs Tomboy.

That's a really beautiful start Sally. Looking forward to seeing this grow.
We didn't have as much as a flake of snow, unfortunately. Spring morning looks so beautiful Sally, I think stitching with the silks one of my favourite parts of a Chatelaine design.
Oh, what a neat start. It looks like a fun stitch. If you want cold frosty mornings you are welcome here at any time. It's been frigid here for 2 months now.
Sally, that is looking lovely so far! I love the colors!
Lovely start Sally - will enjoy watching this progress. :0)
No snow here: just lots of wind, a little hail & lots of rain!
Great start Sally, we didn't get snow either lol I am so jealous of those who did
Great start Sally. I love it. It's making me want to start Summer Afternoon. I know you finished yours, is it hung in the gallery? Maybe I'll see it next time.
Such a pretty new Chatelaine Sally! I know what you mean about the silks - I love using them on my Taj :o) Thanks for letting me know about the DMC Variations colour, I'll keep my eye open for it next time I'm in my LNS.
Lovely start Sally. Hope you are getting on better than I am with Queen today - everytime I picked her up the phone went the door went and people seem to have all chosen today for "just popping in". I am off again in a minute to try and make a start AGAIN lol.
We woke to a white out when it snowed, but by dinnertime it was all gone as the sun came out - typical!!!
Great start.
Go Lisa !!!!
Spring Morning is very pretty. Glad you're enjoying this one ;)
What a lovely start on your new Chatelaine. And I love stitching with silks also. We don't get any snow here in Texas either, but we never do.
Your Chatelaine Spring Morning looks lovely sally.
It looks fantastic! Great stitching:)
Chatelaine is progressing beautifully.
Sally, finally catching up on my blog reading and you've really been busy. The Chatelaine piece is looking beautiful as are all the rest. Love how JN's QotN is coming along.
I could use a snow day, but yesterday it was almost 80(Farenheit) and today they say it will be almost that warm. No chance of snow in my future. Oh well, the weekend is coming!
Ohhhh more beautiful Sally stitching. I love this one too! You have great taste!
Your Chatelaine is so pretty!
Beautiful progress on your Chatelaine!
