Some Stitching At Last!

As promised I am back with some stitchy progress pics! No more fabby colours for you to look at! Lol!

First up for today is last Wednesday's progress on HAED Letter J. I did finish page 2 but didn't stitch anymore on it as I had to grid the next page then couldn't be bothered to add anymore stitches to it so I'll make a start on that page tonight:)
SAL Symphony was the next piece I worked on after the PS design I've finished but can't show yet. Unfortunately this photo doesn't do it justice at all. Isa gave us parts 8 and 9 on Monday so once I've got those stitched I'll be ready to show you the whole piece finished!
Sunday I was back to Blackbird Designs Blessings and Wishes. I decided to make a start on the verse this time and got about half of it done. Next Sunday I may go back to the house and get more of that stitched.
Finally Monday and last night I stitched on Bygone Stitches A Quaker Christmas which I am still loving so much. I am getting on quite well with this. You never know I might have it finished by 1st December! Lol!
I picked Ink Circles Sea Stars up from the framers yesterday. It should have been ready a while ago but John didn't have the framing in stock so I had to wait a little while longer. I don't mind as it was well worth the wait. I'm afraid the photo isn't that good.
I have Abi off school ill at the moment. School rang me last Thursday lunchtime to say she was unwell and she hasn't been back since. She's had headaches, been dizzy, felt sick, hot and cold. Anyway yesterday I took her to the doctors. She saw a 5th year medical student ( he was really nice) and then one of the doctors from the surgery. Her glands are up, her tonsils are slightly swollen and she has a temperature so they came to the conclusion that she's fighting a viral infection. I can't see her being back at school before half term so I rang school today to ask for some work for her as we were both concerned about her getting behind. Poor girl has felt so ill and has been so worried about how she was feeling she's been in tears. Finger's crossed she's feeling well enough to enjoy half term.

Thank you for all your input on the fabrics for my MM&I SAL. I am either going to go for Snow Storm or Dusk in an opalescent. I think I'm going to email Tracey at Silkweaver just to ask her advice as I'm worried that white won't show up on Snow Storm. Then I need to work out how much I need as I want to make sure I have enough for tweaks etc!

I'm impatiently waiting the arrival of the Just Cross Stitch ornaments magazine at the ONS I've pre-ordered it from. I was being patient before but now I just want it here!! LOL! Looking back at my blog last year it arrived at the end of October so still a while to go yet:(

That's me for today! Hope you are all having a wonderful week. I'm going to catch up on blog reading for a while now and see what you've all been up to!

Come Dance With Me!!

After 9 months of stitching Sea Stars is finally finished! Wahooooooooo!!!! I started this back on January 1st as a SAL with Karen and although she put hers on hold a while ago because she was had a lot of shifts at work I kept going with mine. Now that it's finished and I can see it in all it's glory I have to say that I really love it. As I went on with it I wasn't sure but that's all changed now. It'll be going to the framers later in the week:)

Started 1st January 2008

Finished 30th September 2008

Thank you Karen for stitching along with me and I hope you get chance to go back to yours soon and get it finished.

Sunday evening I had a good stitching session on Blackbird Designs Blessings and Kind Wishes and I got the storks stitched. I am really enjoying this piece and look forward to stitching on it so much every Sunday. I had hoped to have the mystery started by now but I think it will have to wait until I've finished all the Loose Feathers for this year.

Monday was Bygone Stitches A Quaker Christmas evening and it was going well until I realised I'd made a mistake so I have to frog that bit before I start on it next time. I'm thinking that I really need to work on it more than one night a week to get it finished for Christmas so I think it'll get attention for two nights instead. I don't want to still be stitching it in 2009 when I've got 2008 stitched!

That's all my stitching for now. I have posted the private autumn colours biscornu off today so, finger's crossed, that should reach it's new Mum tomorrow. I have the 5th part of the Symphony SAL to start but it's a fairly small part this time so shouldn't take too long to stitch.

I went and photocopied and enlarged the charts for my MM&I RR so that I can cut the copies up and see where I want them. Hopefully I will make a decision soon as to how I want it to look then I can get sorted with fabric.

I managed to finally get caught up on blogs the other day ( I had over 100 posts to catch up on!). I always plan to keep up with them every day so I don't get that many but plans don't always go as we want them!

Thank you all for reading and for all your lovely comments on my ornament in my last post.

Reveal Day

Today is reveal day for the Stitch and Stash SAL challenge and I just finished this last night and have emailed a piccie today to Karen for the album so I was cutting it a wee bit fine but at least I managed to stitch it! I have just done a basic ornament finish with a gathered ribbon edging. I think this may well be the last one I stitch for this year as I have so many other things I want to get stitched before Christmas. I enjoyed stitching this one though and am looking forward to displaying it at Christmas.

The Back

The NN thread I used was sent to my by Michele as part of a prize for her blogoversaray draw last year and the backing fabric was sent to me by Yuko as a thank you for sending her a La D Da freebie she liked that I had stitched so this is a special piece:)

Tuesday night I finally got the HUGE motif on Sea Stars done and did a more of the sea monster. I still have a fair bit to do and can't see me getting it finished on Tuesday so I'm going to stitch some more on it tonight to give me a better chance!

As usual Wednesday was SAL night for smalls ( quick stitches, tiny treasures etc) on the HAED forum so I stitched on my Letter J. It is still going well and I must admit I am enjoying stitching on this more than I have done on a HAED since I abandoned Winter.Next week I hope to make a start on some Christmas stitching starting with one of the stockings I want to stitch for DH and I. I stitched the girls one each afew years ago and I think it's only right that DH and I have one too! Lol! Oh and I'd better stitch a card for DH's auntie for her birthday seen as I've stitched one every year for several years. Not sure what to stitch this year but I'll have a look and see what I've got.

My charts for the MM&I RR/SAL have arrived today so I will be having a go at more planning and see how it goes! I do have one more to come as I couldn't resist the new LHN Holly and Berries as I thought it was ideal for my neighbourhood.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend and making the most of the lovely weather we're having here in the UK.

Stitchy Update!

I thought it was time I did a blog update to show you the stitchy progress I've made this week:) I got the roof done on Blackbird Designs Blessings and Kind Wishes so that was a good evening's stitching! I think next Sunday I shall do a different bit rather than carry on with the house or I might get sick of it! Lol!
Monday evening we had a meeting at school about early entry language GCSEs as Abi is doing her Spanish GCSE a year early so will do it in year 10 rather than year 11, same as her Maths GCSE. So I didn't get as much done on Bygone Stitches A Quaker Christmas as I might have done otherwise. Although the meeting was rather boring we did feel it was important that we know what was going on and what would happen etc.

Tuesday evening I was very happy with the progress I made on Ink Circles Sea Stars and, providing things go to plan, I am still on track for an end of September finish:) The HUGE motif is almost done so just a smaller one and some of the sea monster to do.
Last night was the smalls SAL on HAED so, as usual, TT Letter J came out. Not sure if you can see all the progress I made as the very plae blue does not stand out too well. I'd like to have this finished by the end of the year but not sure one evening a week stitching on it is enough.

When I finished Sea Stars Lisa and I were going to do the SALexandre but we have decided to put it on hold for a while as Lisa doesn't want to add anything else into her rotation at the moment or take anything out, which I can fully understand, so we'll be starting it at a later date. So when Sea Stars is finished I shall either replace it with one of my few UFOs or start one of the two stockings I want to get stitched for Christmas! Lol!

I am happy to report that Chris now has a fully stitched RR. You may remember that the last stitcher was unable to stitch on it and Nicki kindly offered to stitch it and Chris now has it back. Nicki thank you so much for stitching this for Chris. You are an absolute star:) I must admit that I was upset that it wasn't complete seen as I organised it but now I am happy:)

I think that's all from me today:) Oh Beachmama I am not sure if you're asking about a print of the girls holding hands or a copy to put on your PC but you can right click on the picture and save the picture to your PC. Hope that helps.

Also does anyone know how to make pictures clickable? When I placed them at the right of my post they were mostly clickable but now I have them on the middle they're not.

Hope everyone is having a good week and looking forward to the weekend:) I know I am!

What Have I Done?!!!

Yes what have I done!! I have so desperately tried not to look/ read about etc at the lovely Vonna's RR/ SAL idea Me, Myself and I! I absolutely love the idea but kept thinking no I've got enough to stitch, no I'd be no good at setting it out/ planning etc then Marianne emailed me and asked me if I was going to join:) Well she got me thinking, even after I'd told her I wasn't, and the little grey cells started thinking about what sort of neighbourhood/ village I would really like. I went through my stash and only found two charts that just might work but then I found a freebie and last night I looked through my JCS Ornament mags and found some bits in there that should work too. I do need a couple more charts ( yes I know I'm doing a project challenge but I can't plan a neighbourhood without blueprints can I??!) and will get those as and when but I need to start planning so that I can sort out fabric. It's times like these that I really wish I hadn't sold charts I'd finished with! So I think I'm going for an LHN Winter village/ neighbourhood. So Vonna sent me my permit and I'll working on getting blueprints and give the architect ( me) the go ahead to start planning! On top of that I had already joined the Needleprint Beatrix Potter SAL that Hazel set up so I'm going to very busy in 2009! The thing I like about both these is there's no deadlines so no pressure. You just stitch at your own pace when and how much you want.

I have done a little bit of stitching so far this week so am showing my usual, boring three pieces from Monday, Tuesday and last night! Monday was A Quaker Christmas night. Still enjoying this piece so much and still hoping to have it finished and on my wall for Christmas.

Tuesday was Ink Circles Sea Stars night and look how this motif is growing now! Not many more Tuesdays on this; finger's crossed! After that it'll be one motif and the sea monster. Yipeee!! Can you tell I just want to get it finished? Lol!
Finally last night was HAED TT Letter J for the SAL on the HAED forum. Not quite as much done on this as I would have liked but somehow I didn't really feel like stitching. It's all progress though:)

Thank you all for your kind comments on my Rites of Spring finish. I haven't heard back from Mary Kathryn if she would mind me using her idea of a stitcher's wallet so I may leave a comment on her blog to ask her. I don't really want to just go ahead and do it but I am sure she wouldn't mind.

The second part of the Symphonie SAL came out Monday but I haven't put a stitch in it yet. I might do some this evening and see how far I get. On the Autumn colours biscornu exchange front I've got one side stitched and I must say I really like how it looks:) It didn't take long to stitch so I should be finished well in time for the post out date.

I am still feeling pretty low and now and again I feel like crying plus I get myself worked up and feel sick. I don't want to see the doctor as I know he'll probably put me on anti-depressants and I don't want to go on them again. Been there, done that and got the t-shirt. I've been thinking about trying St John's Wort just for a bit of a boost but am worried about they might interact with the Menopace I take. Maybe all this is just to do with menopause seen as I'm close to it. I did see the doctor this morning as my ear has been playing me up again ( the one I had the infection in just a few weeks ago) so I now have antibiotic drops as my ear drum is fine but the infection in my outer ear canal which doesn't really explain feeling off balance. Oh well.I think I must be run down etc as I just seem to be feeling ill constantly.

Well it's looking dull and keeps trying to rain so I think I'll go study some charts and have a think about what else I may need for my MM&I neighbourhood:) Take care everyone:)

Stitching the Week Away!

Well it's a miserable day here today. It's dull and raining and rather chilly too! I don't think I'll be doing much today as I feel as though I'm going down with cold. I'm sat here freezing one minute then too hot the next!

I have had rather a good week so far on the stitching front. I think I'm throwing myself into it to take my mind off other stuff! I've got back to all the bits I missed last week so first up here's Bygone Stitches A Quaker Christmas. I'm not so sure now that this will be finished for Christmas! I mean it's September already and I still have several pages to go yet ( lots of motifs!) but we shall see. I do feel that I've made good progress for the amount of time I've been stitching on it.

Tuesday was Ink Circles Sea Stars evening and I am still hoping to have this finished for the end of September so that gives me 4 more Tuesdays! Mmmmm can I do it! I'm still on the big motif but it went well and I did manage to get a good bit done.

Wednesday is the QS/ SK/ TT SAL on the HAED forum so out came Letter J. This is such a doddle to stitch with the blocks of colour and I just love it!

I have had a new start this week; well actually two! NO! I hear you say! I signed up for a SAL which started Monday and I think it runs for 9 weeks. It's called Symphony and you could pick between about 5 different colourways and I chose mauve. This is this week's part completed. The purple bits in the tree are supposed to be French Knots but me and French Knots are not the best of friends so I did Smyrnas instead!

My other new start is one I can't show as it's for the Autumn colours biscornu exchange so you'll have to wait to see that when it's been received by my partner in about a month:) Anyway it's stitching up rather nicely so far.

Thank you to everyone who left hugs, good wishes etc on my loneliness at the girls going back to school and the new neighbours and especially to Gillie and Wendy who emailed me. I am doing a bit better now about everything. I knew I'd be something like once I got settled again after the girls had gone back to school. I do usually struggle for a while but for some reason this year has been terrible. I was very brave and only shed a few tears when they left for school on Wednesday morning. They both seem to have settled in OK now although there were a few hiccups on the first day and Abi did come home in tears but it's a long story so I won't go into details here but I did ring school yesterday and have also written them a letter. Nothing serious just to do with some lessons her year had to choose. Jess' timetable was wrong ( well all the students who are taking chemistry didn't have it on their timetable), again a bit of a long story, and was supposed to now be right but it looks as though hers wasn't and she had to go out in a rush this morning. Finger's crossed she made it in time! I won't say anything about the neighbours as you never know who's reading but I will say we are keeping ourselves to ourselves!

That's it from me for today. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Thank you to everyone for your comments and visits. Your kind words mean the world to me:)

It's the Weekend!

Well it's been nearly a week since I last posted! We have been so busy this week with the decorating and we are still not finished yet! We're on the home stretch though. Only a bit of emulsioning to do now. Phew! I must admit DH and I have had enough. It would have taken a lot longer but the girls have been really good helping out with painting.

So what I have been stitching once we've settled down after tea? Well I it's pretty much the same as my last post I'm afraid! Sunday was Blackbird Designs Rites of Spring and it's going so well! I just love this piece and how quickly it stitches up. I'm hoping for a good evening on it tomorrow so that I can get it finished soon and start the next one seen as number 4 for this year is now out and on it's way to me from Needlecraft Corner:)

Monday it was time for Bygone Stitches A Quaker Christmas and another motif down several to go! Still I think I am on track for a finish in time for Christmas and I have a place all ready for it to be hung!

Tuesday was Ink Circles Sea Stars, my SAL with Karen and I made good progress on that HUGE motif! I think I shall be tired of stitching on this one by the time I'm done but I have to say I love the effect.

Finally it's my progres on HAED TT Letter J. Not a lot done this week but not to worry. I can soon get caught up to where I would like to be- I hope!

I have decided ( like KarenV a while ago) it's time to get my chart stash down and not buy anymore for a while. I have tried this before and failed most of the time BUT I need to be really strong and just get on with it. I do have a couple of charts to come and, of course, there's two more BBD Loose Feathers for this year that I will be buying but that will be it. I am quite ashamed really of the amount of charts that I have ( around 50 charts and 3 kits plus 4 HAED charts that are a must stitch) so I really have no need to buy more. So I have decided to set myself a project challenge although I have not decided on the amount of projects as yet. Either 10 or 15 to begin with I think then see how I feel after that.

I received the I Love Your Blog award from both Heather and Karan Thank you so much to both of you. I am so happy to know that you both love my blog:) At the moment I am not going to pass on this award so if you're in blog list on the right of my blog please consider yourself awarded the I Love Your Blog award:)

Unfortunately Jess hasn't been successful with her job interviews so far. She really wanted the one at the local Co-op so was really disappointed when she didn't get it.

Time I went and got out of my decorating clothes and into some clean ones ( silly devil me brushed the wall with my butt when I'd just painted it!) and settle down for a bit of stitching. I've had a small new start!

Have a great weekend everyone and thank you for reading and for all your wonderful comments:) I managed to get caught up with all your blogs yesterday. It was brilliant to see what you'd all been stitching:)

Redwork/ Monchrome Exchange & Other Stuff!

I can never think of rivetting titles for my blog posts!! Lol!

My redwork/ monochrome exchange arrived yesterday from Clare via Jayne. Clare chose to stitch me this gorgeous monochrome needleroll in lavender DMC Rayon and I absolutely love it. Clare stitched it so beautifully. Thank you so much Clare and thank you to Su for organising the exchange.

I can't show what I stitched for Jane S ( no blog) as yet as she has received it but not opened it yet! I am itching for her to open it and desperately hope she likes it as both finishes were firsts for me.

I have been stitching, although I did not stitch Saturday evening as I just didn't feel like it, but not as much as usual. I haven't been stitching all evening until bedtime as I normally do but I am still making progress on my WIPs. I want to try and get Ink Circles Sea Stars and Blackbird Designs Rites of Spring finished by the end of September then I plan on starting BBD Blessings and Kind Wishes. As I said before I am planning on making some changes to my rotation. Mondays will be A Quaker Christmas, Tuesdays Ink Circles Sea Stars, Wednesdays HAED TT Letter J and Sundays will be my BBD night until all the Loose Feathers for this year are stitched! As I finish something in this bit of my rotation I'll bring in WIPs that I haven't stitched on lately which are Chatelaine Spring Morning and HAED quick stitch Girly Gothic. The rest of the week I'll stitch on smalls and one week will be dedicated solely to A Quaker Christmas so that I can get that finished for Christmas this year.

So I'd better show what I've been stitching! I do hope you're not getting bored of seeing the same old pieces coming out but, hopefully, there should be some smaller bits and pieces as I get going. I am now all the way across on BBD Rites of Spring and loving how it's coming along. These BBD's are so easy to stitch and look gorgeous. I don't know why I didn't discover BBD earlier!

Monday was A Quaker Christmas night. I realised that I'd stitched an 8 as charted when I wanted to replace it with a 7 so that I could date the piece as 2008. Hope that makes sense. So I frogged the 8 and stitched a 7 in it's place then completed the year. I'm not entirely happy with how it looks but I'm going to stitch the motifs around it first then see what I think. I also stitched a motif at the bottom. I just love this Carrie's Creations red thread as the variation is so beautiful.

Last night I stitched for a couple of hours on Ink Circles Sea Stars and did more of the HUGE motif in the middle! I would say I've got a quarter of it stitched in two evenings so I might get it finished by the September and I might not!

I am so happy to report that all RR's in our Quaker Friends RR are now back home. The last round was a bit fraught as two were sent back by Royal Mail and had to be reposted. The last stitcher on Chris' did not know when or if she'd be able to stitch on it so Chris and I decided it best that it was returned unstitched and she finally got it back on Monday. I have to say that I am disappointed for Chris that two blocks haven't been stitched but also relieved that she has it back. It has been a little off-putting and I think it'll be a while before I ever organise or take part in an RR again. However I am looking forward to seeing the books made up. Mine is half done but I just need to pluck up the courage to finish it off totally!

A while ago Linda had read on my blog that I collect postcards so she offered to send me one from her country Iceland. A package arrived from her on Monday and she hadn't sent me just one but nine! I must say seeing these postcards I would dearly love to visit Iceland one day but whether I ever will is a different matter! Thank you so much Linda:)

It's now 3 weeks into the girls summer holiday and we have done very little other than have a few walks and do a bit of shopping. Of course last week I was ill and going out was out of the question but the weather hasn't been good either. We've had lots of rain and this week isn't going to be much better. Jess has got an interview on Friday at the local Co-Operative store so keeping my finger's crossed for her there. DH finishes Friday for 2 weeks and we are hoping to get out the odd day or so. We do have some decorating to do and the girls and I stripped some wallpaper off yesterday and Monday. I must admit the girls did most of it on Monday as I still wan't feeling too good but I can't sit by and watch everyone else work regardless of how I feel.

Tomorrow is results day for AS and A2 level students so Jess will be off in the morning to pick her AS level results up. Like Sammy Jo , Jess is dreading opening that envelope. One thing that is worrying her is that she won't have done well enough in her physics to carry on at A2 level so please keep your finger's crossed for her. Good luck Sammy Jo and to all students across the country:)

Leaving you with a picture of Jess and Abi on Jess' birthday ( both still in their PJs!! Lol!)

That's it from me today. Thank you to everyone for your continued good wishes. I am feeling much better than I was but still not quite 100%. I was feeling a bit off balance again yesterday and still have some pain in my ear but, hopefully, it will be OK. I finished my antibiotics on Monday so finger's crossed.

Take care everyone.

TGIF!

First of all I want to say a huge thank you and send hugs to everyone who left get well wishes, hugs etc for me on my post from Tuesday. I am so touched by them all. Unfortunately I am still not feeling too good and I am so fed-up. I was hoping to have felt that bit better by now but I suppose I have to be patient. I am taking one antibiotic a day as per the doctor's instructions. His first choice was penicillin but as I'm allergic to that I have to have something different but this one will lower my iron absorbsion rate (I'm on iron) plus I have to avoid sun! Good job I'm not getting out although we've had quite a lot of rain so it wouldn't be a problem. I have just been round to the PO with Abi by my side keeping me safe to post my redwork exchange but ended up bringing it back home because I don't have a house number for the lady in question and, apparently, there's 40 odd houses on the road where she lives!

Thank you also to those of you who left birthday messages for Jessica. I haven't had chance to show them to her yet as she's gone out for the day with a friend. I was quite upset that I am ill and it was her birthday but we sat quietly yesterday morning and watched Spiderman 3 which she got for her birthday then one of her friends bought her Constantine so while she watched that I sat in another room ( I don't like films like that!) She went out with some friends to the cinema on Monday for her birthday and they saw Wall-E which she loved. When I am feeling better we will go out for a bar meal or something.

I have been steadily stitching as it takes my mind of how I feel. I haven't stitched on A Quaker Christmas as yet this week but I have done some on Sea Stars and Tiny Treasures Letter J so have those to show as well as my bit on Blackbird Designs Rites of Spring. As you can see I have now altered the T in rites to look like a t rather than an f. Love how this is looking and am now about halfway.

Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon I did a bit on Sea Stars. I decided to be brave and start the big motif as I've been putting it off for long enough. It stitches up quite quickly really as I got quite a good bit done.

Finally I did 11 rows on page 2 of HAED TT Letter J so I am happy with what I got done.

It was my intention last night to get Quaker Christmas out but I just did not feel like stitching on it so I am hoping to have a go tonight. I had wanted to do some smalls stitching but there might be a rethink for this week. Some changes are afoot with my rotation but I'll save that for another time!

Sorry I'm not very chatty this post but I am sure you will understand. Take care everyone and have a wonderful weekend! A warm welcome to all my new readers:)

Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside!

LOL! I stitched on Ink Circles Sea Stars again this week and am happy to report that I'm intent on stitching on this on Tuesdays until it's finished! Yep Tuesdays now not Wednesdays as I'm joining in the Small HAED SAL on Wednesdays with my Tiny Treasure Letter J. Anyway here's my progress for this week. Sammy Jo asked how much more I have to do. Well there's a HUGE motif in the middle and a smaller one plus the rest of the sea monster. I'd like to have it finished by the end of September.
I don't have anything else to show as I'm been beavering away on my piece for the Stitch and Stash redwork exchange. It's almost done, in fact it would be if the frog stayed away! I have an idea for something else to go with this piece but it's a secret until my partner has received it!

Jess applied for a job in the local Co-op this week to work on the shop floor so we are waiting to see if she gets an interview. In the meantime she has an interview next week for a leisure assistant at Neptune's Kingdom. It would suit her as it's mainly Sundays which would mean she'd be able to carry on with it when she goes back to 6th form in September.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! We're going uniform shopping for Abi on Sunday. Oh joy!

Revealing Early!

Tomorrow is reveal day for the S&S SAL Challenge but I'm revealing mine here a day early as I won't be blogging tomorrow. This month's design was Debbie Draper Designs Love which is a real pretty design. I made it into a pendibule using a tutorial here. I decided to send it as a little pick-me-up/ good luck gift for Lisa who was having an op to have her gall bladder removed yesterday. She loved it and was taking it with her in her bag to hospital:)

Debbie Draper Designs Love

28 count fabric

DMC Variations 4210

Finished as a pendibule.
Gift for Lisa

On Wednesday I actually stitched on Ink Circles Sea Stars! I haven't stitched on it for 2 weeks but I think the break did me good as I stitched quite a bit on it and now have my enthusiasm back again.

I can't believe this! I've already been honoured to receive two awards this week and now I have a third! This time awarded to me by Marianne of Midnight Stitching:) Thank you so much Marianne:) I am so honoured.

Here are the rules. . .
1. The winner may put the logo on her blog

.2. Put a link to the person you got the award from.

3. Nominate 5 blogs

4. Put links to the blogs.

5. Leave a message for your nominees

For my previous two awards I have chosen nominees but this time I'm going to be bad and break the rules! Lol! So this award is for ALL the blogs in my blog list especially any that have not been nominated yet. You are all amazing, inspiring people:)

I thought you might like to see the visitor we've had over the last few days in our garden! We first noticed him the other day and Jess realised he had rings on his legs so he must be a racing pigeon. He comes for food and showers and drinks in the pebble fountain! He seems to like sitting on the shed roof and also in the guttering! Somebody somewhere must be missing him but I guess he will find his way home one day. I took this photo when he was sat on the shed roof!
And here's the yucca in our front garden. It's the first time it's flowered properly as last time they all died off before they came out. There's loads more to come out.
Well I am going to do some making up now. I started to do it last night but it wasn't going too well so back to it with the hope it goes better today! Have a great weekend everyone!
