Mr Stitck Threatens!

Last night was UFO night on Stitch and Stash and Ann T suggested I join in so that I can carry on a bit each week with HAED Winter. It's not officially a UFO but I thought it was an excellent idea as I'd get a bit done each week in between stitching on her for a full week and I'd see a bit of progress and perhaps not get so disheartened. Also with Julie and Mr Stick behind me I daren't not stitch on it! Lol! So I did make quite a bit of progress almost getting the first 10 rows of page 4 done. Best laugh is this could have almost been a disaster! On Monday evening I decided to grid the page ready for Tuesday evening so I didn't waste any valuable stitching time. Once I'd done I thought I'd just check out what the page was like; whether there were big blocks of colour or lots of confetti. I'm looking and I thought why is there a snowflake on this page. Yep I'd only gridded page 5! So out it all came and off to bed I went and I gridded the correct page yesterday! I've now had to resort to using the digital camera to show my progress as this piece will no longer fit in the scanner!

Update on trying to get a refund from that ONS. I've now set up a dispute with Pay Pal so she now as 20 days to resolve it. Keep your finger's crossed:) I'm sure there are plenty trying to get refunds.

Still not feeling 100% with my head but I think it's getting there. I'm feeling the best I have in a quite a few days today so I'm hoping it's on it's way and it's not going to come back for a very long time. I think I have had more days with a sore head than without in the last couple of months. I think a return to the doctors will be in order soon:(

My magazine order is on it's way from Stitching Bits and Bobs! I truly did not expect them being shipped so quickly as Bobbie is having a sale and I know she gets very busy then.

Well time to go and get some lunch:) I think my sewing machine will be coming out later so I can get the Christmas ornament for Simone's exchange finished off. I might post it out next week then it's done!

I think thta's a good idea to work on the big project between the set rotation weeks, as that way you'll see progress each time you pick it up. And with your cheerleaders behind you, you'll definitely finish it!

I've just been pressing fabrics and making choices for all my finishing, including Simone's exchange, looks like we're on about the same schedule :o)

Hope your head feels better soon - having a sore head is rotten!

Winter is looking great, but I too need a kick up the butt sometimes to motivate me to stitch my big HAEDs.

I think the reason Bobbi is slow sometimes with sale orders is because she doesn't have the items in stock and has to order them in...if she has the item already, she ships right away.

Dear Sally, What progress! "Winter" looks so fabulous! I just love HAED projects. I'm starting the next face on my HAED RR space...Lyns has requested Autumn Splendor. She's going to be a "doozy!" LOL
Mr. Stick sounds like just the guy for me! Send him over to my stitching chaise, will you?
Feel better, Miss Sally
Hugs,
Deb

It is a great idea to join SAL on big projects so keep you stayed motivated. Your autumn pinkeep is so pretty. Thank you for visiting my blog all the time and thank you so much for the comment. Michael still had a hard time at night with his coughs. Another sleepless night for me.

I just love looking at all of your beautiful work. The pinkeep came out so nicely. I am thinking of trying that one next and seeing yours is a real incentive. I hope your PayPal dispute is resolved quickly and well. I once got scammed on eBay - it wasn't a whole lot of money but it sure didn't feel good to be taken advantage of.
