Chocolate Shoppe SAL

Here is my second Wednesday of stitching on Little House Needleworks Chocolate Shoppe. Some of the other girls have done three Wednesdays but with it being half term last week I didn't get any done. I had a bit to frog as I'd made a small mistake last time I was stitching on it but I soon got it restitched. I really like what I have done so far and am looking forward to getting stuck in again next Wednesday! I must say those cakes still look good enough to eat!

HAED Summer ACEO is going quite well this week. She does look quite stunning even though I say so myself and I just love her wings. I will upload a picture when I am done for the week! I'd really love to get page 3 done but I can't see it happening unless I stitch all night tonight and all day tomorrow and that certainly isn't going to happen! LOL!

You may ( or may not) have noticed that my ticker for the stash wagon at the top has gone. Yes that does mean I am now officially off the wagon. It has been smashed to pieces and burnt and will definitely not be getting rebuilt! I have done well and am quite pleased with myself. I simply came to the conclusion that life is too short not to indugle a little in what you enjoy ( in moderation of course) so I am going to join Sassy's Fabbys COTM club for starters. That way I will be just in time for the March shipping. I am not going to buy any charts at the moment ( waiting for sales! LOL!) but want to buy threads and beads for charts I have and want to stitch to soon. I am going to be even more selective with charts ( and I am more selective now than I used to be!) and just buy what I really really love and can't do without! It makes sense! Honest it does! Right, off to sign up for the COTM!

Choccie Shoppe looks great Sally

I've got loads of charts in my stash that i wanted once and they just sit there, i don't know about you but my tastes change and then i don't like them as much as i once did, or better stuff comes out that i just have to stitch right away

Yummy! I love this design. Do you use the recommended fabric? I plan to stitch both the Chocolate and the Coffee Shoppe on the same fabric, but I haven't yet decided on the colour.

Chocolate Shoppe looks lovely Sally, think I will have to get this one.
I totally agree with you about the wagon - it's good to have a treat now and then

Your littel house piece is very cute. I have quite a few of her charts on my to do list. Just need to stitch it.

Yes, I am on the stash exchange. I always miss out on good deals or charts that I really want like your biscornu. I have a list of stuff that I am going to sell, it is a slow process for me, but I will try to get some money off it instead of trading at this time. Then I will consider trading them.I think I have 1/2 sale list made already, I just need to finish the rest.

As far as the SB pieces, I am thinking about finishing them off as rounded pinkeeps. I just need to wait and see. It will be my first try.

Your Chocolate Shoppe is coming along nicely and the cakes do look tempting.

I didnt get on the stash wagon as I keep trying to buy threads and kit up some of the charts I am hoping to do in the not to distant future, but I have stopped buying charts. Think I could start a shop with the amount I have and I think your tastes change over the years too. I only have one chart I would really, really love now and it will probably end up on my wish list at Christmas lol as I am determined I am not buying any more.

Hello Sally,

Yet again, my mouth is watering. Yes, Chocolate Shoppe does look good enough to eat.

Congratulations in falling off the wagon! I echo your sentiments that life IS too short, to not indulge in the things you enjoy.
