Lisa's Birthday Present!

Yesterday was Lisa's birthday ( Happy Birthday Lisa!) so I stitched this little freebie design, which came with the charts DH bought me for Christmas from Violarium) and made it into a floss ring tag. It was my first attempt at using the Crop-o-dile I got for Christmas and, wow, it's so much easier than using a hammer! LOL!

Couleur Dietoile Un Petit Moment De Broderie

30 count fabric

Carrie's Creations Cranberry Sauce ( I think!)

Stitched for Lisa

Last night I finished up some secret stitching so now I can start my biscornu for the Basket of Biscornu SAL then my ornament for the Christmas Ornament SAL and my SB needleroll for my SAL with Chris!

Chris and I met up again yesterday after the failed attempts before Christmas! Chris' car behaved and got her here and back home without a hitch! We had cuppas and a good old natter and we showed each other what we were stitching. Her BRD Sealed With a Kiss is gorgeous as is the SB needleroll she's stitching. I look forward to our next meet up:)

I received a couple of needleroll charts from Barb ( no blog) yesterday so thank you Barb. She is as addicted to them as I am and kindly offered to send me the ones she had stitched that I didn't already have. She also sent a lovely SB kit that I plan to stitch as a gift:)

And I have been naughty today. I am not supposed to be buying charts this year but as I was sorting through my bookmarks and deleting those I don't want anymore I came across Country Cottage where I used to buy from regularly. Shirley is retiring so is in the process of reducing all her stock and I found A Most Noble Persuit reduced and as I've been wanting it and it's a good price on sale I have ordered it! Better behave myself for a long time now and stitch from my stash!

Well I had better dash and get on with my making up as it will be tea time before I know it and the girls' and DH's tummies will be rumbling! Lol!

Hugs

Ohhh, this little floss tag is such a cutie. I love the design.

I think even when we are on a stash diet it's allowed to get weak every now and then. It's the same with chocolate when we are on a food diet, lol.

Very cute floss tag, you did a lovely job finishing it. I hadn't used one of these before my DSIL made me one and I love how it is keeping all my flosses together for my project. Lisa will love it. You WIP's are looking so pretty, and you've made great progress on your BP SAL. You mentioned in your note on my blog that you wanted to do WingDings later this year. I'd like to do that one as well as her new one Peppermint Twist, to cute.

Oh, it's lovely, Sally! I know Lisa must be thrilled!!! :-) Beautiful stitching and finishing, as always! I love the fabric and that thread colour is gorgeous! :-) I know you two must have had a lovely visit! I wish I lived next door! :-)

I was over at the Shepherd's Bush website drooling over all the lovelies last week and was trying to decide on a Needleroll... I'm going to learn how to *finish* one and stitch myself an entire basket of them! I just love them! Which one are you stitching now? Can't wait to see yours! :-)

And your BBD new start is sooo pretty... I have several BBD's all kitted up and waiting not so patiently as well... good grief there are sooo many I want to stitch! Why aren't there more hours in the days? I have A Most Noble Pursuit as well as the threads and fabric... but do you think I've started it yet? Ha! I do love it so, tho'!

Sending you lots of Love and {{{Hugs}}}

What a lovely gift you made Sally, well done.
I'm on a no buying charts or kits month....lol well year really it should be...but now that you've said Shirley is closing down I must pop in tomorrow and have a look round. There are loads of charts over the years I've wanted, I should have made a list....hmmm maybe I'll do that too......lol

Hope you're doing good Sally....happy stitching and hugs.....

Love the Carrie's thread colour.
My friend Sheila has a Cropodile and we've been experimenting.
It certainly does make eyelets a lot easier.

Hmm I don't have a crop-o-dile, or at least I don't think I do (and with all the card making I do!!). What does it look like?

Love the floss tag for Lisa.
