Come Dance With Me!!

After 9 months of stitching Sea Stars is finally finished! Wahooooooooo!!!! I started this back on January 1st as a SAL with Karen and although she put hers on hold a while ago because she was had a lot of shifts at work I kept going with mine. Now that it's finished and I can see it in all it's glory I have to say that I really love it. As I went on with it I wasn't sure but that's all changed now. It'll be going to the framers later in the week:)

Ink Circles Sea Stars

25 count fabric

DMC Variations

Started 1st January 2008

Finished 30th September 2008

Thank you Karen for stitching along with me and I hope you get chance to go back to yours soon and get it finished.

Sunday evening I had a good stitching session on Blackbird Designs Blessings and Kind Wishes and I got the storks stitched. I am really enjoying this piece and look forward to stitching on it so much every Sunday. I had hoped to have the mystery started by now but I think it will have to wait until I've finished all the Loose Feathers for this year.

Monday was Bygone Stitches A Quaker Christmas evening and it was going well until I realised I'd made a mistake so I have to frog that bit before I start on it next time. I'm thinking that I really need to work on it more than one night a week to get it finished for Christmas so I think it'll get attention for two nights instead. I don't want to still be stitching it in 2009 when I've got 2008 stitched!

That's all my stitching for now. I have posted the private autumn colours biscornu off today so, finger's crossed, that should reach it's new Mum tomorrow. I have the 5th part of the Symphony SAL to start but it's a fairly small part this time so shouldn't take too long to stitch.

I went and photocopied and enlarged the charts for my MM&I RR so that I can cut the copies up and see where I want them. Hopefully I will make a decision soon as to how I want it to look then I can get sorted with fabric.

I managed to finally get caught up on blogs the other day ( I had over 100 posts to catch up on!). I always plan to keep up with them every day so I don't get that many but plans don't always go as we want them!

Thank you all for reading and for all your lovely comments on my ornament in my last post.

Hugs

Absolutely beautiful stitching, dear friend!! I love all you've accomplished and are working on. Your Christmas is stunning!! I'm going to have to look up what color red you're using because it is positively awesome and the best interpretation I've seen for that chart, Sally. So proud of you in all you set your hand to!
