Little Leo Hamster

Abi's lovely little Leo Hamster left us yesterday evening to play happily over the Rainbow Bridge :( He had only been with us 7 weeks but he has left a huge gap in our hearts. I could never have imagined such a small soul could leave such a big pawprint on our hearts. He was such a funny little thing, so lovable and so mischievous and very much loved by us all.

Abi is devastated and I feel so bad for her. I just want to make everything all right again.
Boiler is still not fixed. Not happy. Still waiting for parts.

I am behind on blogs and have tried to get motivated to catch up today but I can't.

Will be back soon with some stitching.

Love & hugs

  1. Awwww so sorry to hear about your dear Leo :( Give Abi a big hug. It's never easy to loose a pet and it takes time for the pain to lessen.

  12. Oh how sad. I'll bet it's lonesome at your house. Perhaps stitching will help... or a cup of coffee and some chocolate. It doesn't take the pain away, but it's comforting in its own right. : )

  21. Thinking of Abi and your family. It's tough to lose a pet, they certainly capture our hearts and become members of the family quickly.

    Still no boiler? Ugh.

  25. Oh Sally, my heart aches with yours and Abi's, it's horrible when they leave us and so hard to fill the gap!
I know, whatever the circumstances were, he's now with my Buttons and that means he'll be fit and well and having a great time xxx

  27. No matter how big or how small the little critters that light up our lives leave big gaping holes when their time with us is over.

I lost my cat Cuddles in March... acutally the best thing for him was to put him down and that was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

    Hugs to Abi.
